Trust

Trust is important in any relationship - that of parent and child, husband and wife, among siblings, among coworkers, in the world. I read an article a few years ago which said that people are basically honest and if you lose something you may not expect to get back, you often do because people like to help others. I think that this is inherently true and it reflects the fact that there is a little bit of Kanhaji in each and every person alive. He tells us what to do in situations of distress or happiness. He helps us to make the difficult decisions and even the easy ones. He guides us when we ask Him for help, and even when we do not. Somehow, things always work out when He is around us.
However, Kanhaji's purpose is also that of a teacher. He teaches us life lessons very often and it is up to us to sit down and listen and learn those lessons. We must try to be good students and learn the lessons when they are taught the easy way. Some lessons, we take longer to learn and He must show us a harsher view of life for us to learn them. This is only normal and ridiculing and cursing Kanhaji is not the way to go. We must always trust Him and trust that He will help us and take care of us always.
I often think of the relationships I have with others in life. Even my close friends - I have different friendships with them, different grounds for interaction and different foundations of the friendships. Kanhaji has made it like this. People may hurt us sometimes but we too have to be understanding of our friends, our relatives, our spouses and significant others, our parents, our children. Kanhaji is really the only one who will truly understand our thoughts and needs and dreams all the time. We cannot expect other people to do that. Therefore, trust in Kanhaji is important. Trust that He will take care of you.

Kanhaji, I know that I need to trust You more

Kanhaji I dont know why I've been so restless lately. Its almost like I cant relax and definitely like I cant concentrate properly. I'm hoping that some time off from the real world and the realities that come with it - in the form of a mini-vacation will help me significantly.
Kanhaji, I'm sorry that I haven't been placing my full trust in You. I dont know why I keep thinking about a million and one possibilities and keep forgetting to count my awesome blessings that You have given to me.
Just now I was watching some old pictures of me and I have changed so very much now - I can hardly believe it! Thank You for the amazing changes You brought to me and thank You for Your love and protection always - even when I am not fully doing my duties.
Kanhaji, please grant me the strength I need to move on in my life and to be able to combine working hard and playing hard.

Kanhaji,You are the only one I trust

One day I suddenly realized that I was trusting the wrong people in my life. I was expecting other people to make me feel happy and to do the best for me. But the truth is, Kanhaji, You are the only one I should really trust. I know that inside of me. I know that You are the only one who really has all my best interests at heart. Sometimes I see the whole world shift just so that something happens in my favour - and so I know that when the disappointments come, it is just your way of saying - "it's okay, I did this because its the best thing for you, maybe you cant see it now but it is, trust me," and so I do.
In the past there are many things that would have upset me but now I try to take everything in easy stride so that You Kanhaji is the only one I really pour my heart out to.

Kanhaji, I trust that You will take care of everything

Kanhaji, I dont know how I know - okay I do, I know because You have instilled this deep confidence and faith in my heart. You have made me realize how much You love me and care about me. You have made me see that there's no sense in worrying because You will always be there to take care of me - to guide me, to love me.
Sometimes I wonder why I used to be so worried in the past because now I know that nothing in this world ever happens against Your will. You control everything - good and bad - our reactions to certain situations and our behaviours in life.
Kanhaji, thank You for being in control, thank You for taking care of everything. I just want to continue to pray to You and know that You will make everything fine.

Kanhaji, I trust You

Today I had a disappointment - I thought that I would get to go somewhere next week but it didn't work out at all. In the end I wont get to go and I was upset about it a little but not much and not for long. Do you know why reader? Its because I know that Kanhaji is the one in control and if He didn't let me go - then there must have been a reason for that. Something that I cant see, that He can in the grand scheme of things.
Kanhaji is the only one I trust this fully and totally - to always do the right thing for me in all situations.
I chose this collage picture because it depicts so many different forms and moods of Kanhaji which is fitting to Him because He changes His moods and forms all the time. When He is powerful He is the protector but He can also be the son, the baby, the cowherd, Radha's companion. Kanhaji is amazing!

Kanhaji will help us find a way if we put our faith in Him

Sometimes we find ourselves in impossible situations where we feel totally helpless and we can't find a way out without help from anyone and the truth is that oftentimes we think of help from Kanhaji as a last resort, when truly this should be our first resort. We should turn to Him first with our problems and He will provide us with a solution. Today, I was stressing out about something and then I realized that I should just ask Kanhaji for some help and that He will take care of everything and show me the right path.
Kanhaji will always provide us with a solution to our problems and He will always take care of us in every way. He loves us and like a parent who we love and trust, we should turn to Him with our burdens and He will find some way to make them lighter for us.
The picture shows baby Kanha sleeping very peacefully holding his bansuri. If we trust in Him and turn all of our problems over to Him then we too can sleep as peacefully as He is doing.

Kanhaji sends the right people to me

One day, a really long time ago, I was walking to somewhere and I met a person who started talking to me as a friend - guiding me, helping me and then I never saw that person again. But, the advice given was irreplaceable. A few weeks ago the same thing happened again. And I know that Kanhaji sends these people to me for a reason. He takes care of me for a reason. He guides me for a reason. Kanahji loves me, now and always and I know that He will always be with me. And, if He can't come to help me Himself, He will send someone to help me. Although, I do believe that it is Kanhaji who helps me when I need Him the most. He is the one who takes care of me.
In the Bhagvad Gita 18.66 Kanhaji says: "sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
mokshayisyami ma sucah"

"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."
I know I've used the picture I included many times before. But that's just because its such a cute picture and it shows that even if we think Kanhaji isn't seeing us, He is. Even if we think that He's distracted with other things, He's not! He's just waiting to help us, to take care of us and to show us the right path. We should all put our trust and faith and hope in Him.

Kanhaji provides everything we need

Sometimes I feel upset that I dont have things that other people have - material and immaterial things but then something happens to make me realize that perhaps not having whatever it is, is actually better for me. This is why we should have TRUST in Kanhaji all the time and trust that He will provide us with everything we need always. I have learned many lessons this week and trust is one of them, another is that Kanhaji is always there for us when we need Him, He is always there and we should realize that. I also learned that Kanhaji provides us with everything we need for our lives to be the way the He has planned for us. Who knows us better than Kanhaji? No one, He knows our every thought, even those we keep to ourselves; our every word, even those we don't say; our every deed, even those committed in secret. We have to learn to trust in Him and love Him with all our hearts, even when it is difficult to do so. Every day I say this - I love you Kanhaji and thank You for coming into my life and helping me and being with me always. Please continue to be with me and love me forever. I cannot continue without You.
I hope everyone reading this post can also say this prayer with confidence and faith in Kanhaji.
I have included as the picture for today a collage of Kanhaji's actions when He was here on earth - He did all these things to help His devotees and He continues to work in our lives in ways that we may never know. He does all of this because of His immense love for us - a love that should make us feel safe. It certainly makes me feel safe, does it do the same for you?
